SpeedBox 1.3 Tuning Chip for Shimano EP8 / EP8 RS

SpeedBox 1.3 is a tuning chip for e-bikes with the Shimano EP8 or EP8 RS motor. It removes the speed limiter and is switched on and off by turning the lights off and on.

The display shows real values up to 23 km/h. This version does not connect to the SpeedBox Connect app.

Good to Know

• To keep tuning always on regardless of the lights, connect the SpeedBox fork terminal to the screw terminal marked '-'.
• On a new bike, ride at least 10 km before the chip is activated.
• For EP8 bikes without a free E-Tube port (e.g. Di2 or Satellite System ON/OFF switch), see SB13-S+ETP.

This tuning chip changes the e-bike's factory speed limit and assistance settings. A modified e-bike may not be legal to ride on public roads, cycle paths or other public areas; SpeedBox products are intended for use on private property, at the rider's own risk.
